This is what happens when you try to defy what God gave you.
I have been too lazy as of late to do much with my hair. I was recently inspired to just let my curls be, well, curly. My good friend lent me a book called curly girl, which urged us curly girls to stop straightening and mistreating our curls. I'm pretty sure from page one I was on board, I'm lazy and the "don't do your hair thing" appealed to me!
One giant snow storm later, this is what I'm left with!
Maybe I should have checked the weather!
Does dressing up your little girl in pink dresses
and little black heels ever get old?
But since we have late church this year, I thought it might be nice to look presentable at least one Sunday a year! So I pulled out my arsenal of hair straightening products and devices and went to town. *Note the lipstick, it will come into play a little later in the post.*

This little stinker might look cute, but is actually more terrorist
than sweetie-pie and yet we just cannot help but be in love with her!

Alivia has this way of always making me laugh at inappropriate times, like yesterday in the middle of sacrament meeting. Alivia leans over to me and firmly presses her fingers to my lips and yells across the room "Pretty Make-N-Up Mom"!

Ha ha...yesterday I thought I would wake up early, (we now have 9:00 church), and CURL my STRAIGHT hair...and the lovely weather undid all of my hard work too. I guess we are never satisfied with what we have! :)
