“Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.”
William Arthur Ward
10 places on earth you are grateful for.
Trips are always fun and getting away has it place, but nothing is as great as coming home. I love that no matter where I go I always long to be back home with the people and comforts I love.
I really enjoy modern day plumbing. I like my daily baths, flushing toilets and taps that give hot or cold water on demand.
The greatest blessings come through the ordinances of the temple. I love that I am so close to Heaven when I go there. I love the quiet peace that abounds. I love what I am taught there.
I'm glad I had the opportunity to move away from Utah. It opened my eyes to just how much I love that place.
My parents always took us on Sunday drives. Most of those drives where through one canyon or another. I miss those days, I miss those long rides but mostly I miss the feelings of peace and beauty I get when I'm in the mountains.
I'll probably be looked at like I'm insane for saying this, but I really enjoy our trips out to Galveston. It's not the most beautiful of ocean get-aways that's for sure, but a good time is always to be had there. The water is warm and it's just an hour or so away.
I love my uncles cabin. So many great memories were made there.
- My Parents and Grandma Joe's Home
It's always nice to be able to swing by Grandma's house and just sit back and enjoy being with the people I love.
It took me being a cook full time to truly appreciate the joy of being able to go somewhere for dinner. I don't have to cook or clean and I love where ever it may be just for the break it provides.
I get to spend time with the 5 most important people in my life. It's usually chaotic and messy but I feel lucky every night we get to gather together and just be with each other. I'm so glad that we are all there, that we are all healthy , that there is food and water to be had and that we live such a richly blessed life.
