“The highest tribute to the dead is not grief but gratitude.”
Thornton Wilder
10 deceased people I am grateful for.
He wasn't afraid to tell you things like they were, but I think his tender heart and "leaky eyes" were my favorite things about him.
She gave life to my eternal companion.
I will always remember my uncle Steve's laughter and his funny sense of humor. He was a good man and I was lucky to know him and see his shining kind example.
- Aunt Glady's and Uncle Dick
Sweetest kindest people I ever met. My mother was fond of them as well so I can't help but love them for loving her.
“
Joseph Smith has done more for the salvation of mankind than any other man who has ever lived on the earth, save Jesus Christ himself” (Franklin D. Richards, “Opportunities to Serve,” Ensign, Nov 1987, 81)... Joseph lived a life of poverty, persecution, and difficult, tedious work. He sacrificed his days to translate scripture and bring the commandments of God to the early Latter-day Saints until his martyrdom, his final sacrifice for the Church.
There wasn't anything I didn't love about this man.
More than words is all you have to do to make it real

'Cause I'd already know

Best visiting teaching partner ever. Always found a way to get me out doing my visits. She was kind, sweet, gentle and beautiful.
She was a dear friend of my mothers and she treated us like we were family. She gladly accepted my ugly hand made scarves (I would use every color yarn possible) every year for Christmas. I loved going to her family parties.
Those men were inspired and I'm grateful for all they did to ensure that I would grow up in the greatest country in the world, where I am free to worship as I please.
