“Learning to appreciate the beauty that surrounds you is one of the keys to your happiness.”
Tom Giaquinto
10 things about nature I am grateful for.
Every where I look I am amazed at God's creations from the most ordinary of things to the most exotic. The mountains and the seas, the flowers and the trees, the little and the big. I love that Heavenly Father has made this world so full of wonders that my life is full of beautiful things.
They'll always be home to me. Nothing makes me happier than a hike, or a picnic, or sitting around a bonfire in the mountains.
I love to watch a seed grow into something fantastic. Plants bring happiness to my soul, and color and variety to my world.
Change...for me it's not always welcome. I certainly have my favorite seasons, but I also recognize that I love some seasons more than other because there is change. I love spring because it means an end to winter, but without winter I would never cherish spring like I do. Each has their own beauty and place.
Before I moved to Texas I thought there was nothing better than sunshine. After just one summer of "sunshine" my perspective has changed a little. You can in fact have too much of a good thing. With that being said though I will always choose light over gloom.
Whether it be the fierce winds of a hurricane, or the quiet trickle of a mountain stream, it's awe inspiring to watch nature do it's thing.
I have always loved animals. Doesn't matter what kind of animal it is, you will find me glued to my seat if any kind documentary about animals is on, they are fascinating and beautiful and wondrous.
Shade, beauty, fall leaves and the consistency of an evergreen. Trees are amazing.
I love having my own personal space to do what I want with. I can grow plants, plant trees, play catch, swing in a swing, or make a bonfire. My own little slice of nature.
- Nature Always Makes me Feel Close to God.
Nature is my proof that God exists and that He loves me. It can be a reminder of our insignificance as well as our importance.
