My Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Day, is a harvest festival. Traditionally, it is a time to give thanks for the harvest and express gratitude in general.

My "Bounteous Harvest" in which I am truly grateful for, includes....
Good Health
Employment
Food
Shelter
A hard working and devoted husband
Two little children who are healthy and exhausting
A mother who taught me well, a mother I love dearly
One big sister and two little ones, whom I grow to love, more each day
A big brother who always inspires me
A little brother who has overcome and is seeking a better way
The best In-Laws in the whole wide world
Awesome neighbors, we live in the best little neighborhood
A ward that we love so very dearly
Friends that have always stuck by us and helped me through my darker hours
Margie Carlson, because she allows us to make this little place our home
Spring, Fall, and Summer, I'm working on being grateful for winter
A lot of yarn and some crochet needles
The desire to try new things, and a husband who lets me
The Gospel of Jesus Christ, words can't express the whole hearted love I have for my beliefs, I'm so grateful the Gospel is there to encourage and strengthen and at times challenge me. I recognize it's the one gift I have been given that can't be taken away. It remains when all all else fails.
I'm grateful for a Savior, who suffered and died for ME, though I fear I'm not nearly grateful enough

Aside from the many wonderful and cherished bounties in my life, I'm pretty excited about grateful for the opportunity to go eat turkey and potato's and stuffing too!

I love the one about "working on being grateful for winter." *Sigh* Aren't we all?
