Likening the Scriptures

1 Nephi 3:31
...Laman and Lemuel again began to murmur, saying: How is it possible that the Lord will deliver Laban into our hands? Behold, he is a might man, and he can command fifty, yea even he can slay fifty; then why not us?
Nephi's response, 1 Nephi 4:1
...and let us be faithful in keeping the commandments of the Lord; for behold he is mightier than all the earth, then why not mightier than Laban and his fifty, yea, or even than his tens of thousands.

Isn't it sad that the characters I most often relate to and all to often behave like happen to be Laman and Lemuel. I've found myself doing a lot of murmuring lately. Just the other day I found myself thinking how is it possible that the Lord will provide a way. I simply don't see a light at the end of the tunnel. And then like an answer from the heavens my six year old son opened his scriptures and read the above passages. And I realized that I needed to focus on doing what needs to be done even if I can't see how it's all going to work out and let the Lord provide a way in his due time.

Easier said then done!
