Running Week 5
Sunday
None
Monday
2 miles ran
2 miles walked
(1 hour on the treadmill)
Tuesday
Walked 2 miles on treadmill at a 4 incline
while I read church history ( I love that I can do these two things together!)
Wednesday
Did an interval speed workout on the treadmill
1.5 miles ran at 5.5 mph in 20 min 30 sec (I'm quite sure I've never sweated so hard in my life)
1.7 miles walked at 3.5 mph for 24 min 30 sec
Thursday
3 mile run (outside) in 45 min
.5 miles walked
Friday
None
Saturday
None
I took a small break from my long run this week due to the fact that I feel like I'm burning myself out. I've got my entire life to work on my speed and my endurance. Pushing myself so hard so fast is making me miserable.
I ran a total of 6.5 miles this week.
