I got to pluck these beauties from my garden last night.
I desperately want to make salsa with them, but tonight's dinner is tomato soup with mozzarella balls, so I'll use them for the soup I guess. I sure do love Roma's!
Here is how the garden is doing so far.
My blood orange tree is full of oranges.
Next up, the Roma's...
The Eggplants I got for Mother's Day.
I put a couple of Anaheim Pepper seeds between the Eggplants, so we'll just have to see if they'll actually grow.
Then we have the Pomegranate Tree, I thought it was a goner last year, then one day it decided to explode with leaves and new growth. It's supposed to be a dwarf, but it sure is huge for a mini.
More Roma's and a Jalapeno plant between them.
The Tangerine tree just finished flowering.
My squash are finally perking up. So far I have lost all my crook neck to blossom end rot. I've added a layer of mulch and the Zucchini is finally not rotting, so maybe the crook neck will sort themselves out too.
My Blueberry bush. I actually have two of them, the other one is buried behind a bunch of flowers.
Raspberry Canes.
Sweet Corn.
Last but not least, the sort of empty boxes that I someday hope to fill with Garlic, Onions and Lettuce. I do have a bunch of carrots growing in them now.
Here is a couple of photos I fudged together to give a panoramic view of the backyard.
I absolutely adore these double blooming Hibiscus I stuffed by my Tangerine tree, they are just beautiful!
The Lemon and Fig trees out front are doing just fine too.
