Februarys Goals in Review
- Read the Ensign from cover to cover. Accomplished
- Prepare my Sunday School lessons on Thursday so I have the weekends freed up. Accomplished
- Continue to follow along with my reading of the church lessons even if I won't be in class or RS to discuss them. I'm caught up with Relief society lessons, but have fallen behind in my Sunday school reading.
- Continue having a BoM lesson each Sunday night with the kids. We missed one Sunday this month.
- Drinking 100 ounces of water each day. Still striving to meet this goal, but I'm getting better!
- Exercise 3 times a week. Still striving to meet this goal, but I'm getting better!
- Go to bed no later than 10:30 pm. I think I accomplished this about 90 percent of the time.
- Start Live the Life. Accomplished. I started on the 22nd, and while I haven't done it perfectly, I'm doing well.
- Make time to read to each child each night. Allowing 5 minutes alone with each of them. Making progress on this one as well, but there is plenty of room for improvement.
- Finish making the bedspread for our master bedroom. Unaccomplished.
- Index 300 names. Accomplished (I did 500).
- Make raised garden beds for the backyard. Cedar is bought and cut and I've begun to build the raised beds.
Limit internet usage to 1 hour each day. Although once the kids are in bed I give myself permission to be on it longer, as long as I get to bed before 10:30. Check email when I get up for the morning and then no internet til the kids are in bed (with the exception of looking up recipes and other such stuff). While the idea behind this goal is noble, I couldn't make it work. I'll be revising this goal for next month.
- Get a library card. Accomplished.
- Stop reading the news and start reading things that will benefit my life. I had good days and bad days with this goal, while I still read the news from time to time, I no longer waste my time reading every comment and opinion that gets posted to each story.
