They are fairly new to the Untied States, and there aren't a whole lot of them to pick and choose from. On top of being a hard find Mr. Giovannoni and I have a very specific amount of money we are looking to spend on this "new" vehicle. Needless to say it's been one mishap after another and try as we may the opportunity to find one we like or one that will work with our budget, hasn't surfaced yet.
Just last week Derik and I took the kids to a movie, and lo and behold there in the parking lot was the most beautiful Mazda5, I had ever seen!
The super cool thing about this particular color is that it changes depending upon the lighting. In the shade this car is a beautiful sparkly green, and in the sun light it shines through the most beautiful blue!It WASN'T for sale of course, but it put a fire in me to find one just like it! I went home and did some research, because we had never seen a Mazda5 that color before. After a little googling here and a little googling there, I found that the car I wanted was a Phantom Mica Blue Mazda5 Touring. I knew from months of already looking that finding one of these Phantom Blue babies was going to be tough if not impossible.
So I pulled out all the stops and I got on my knees again for like the thousandth time and I told the man upstairs that I knew He could help me find a Phantom Mica Blue mazda5 (if that's what He wants for me of course).
I know it's sort of ridiculous to pray about a specific colored car and all, but I really, really have my heart set on one.
I sort of half smiled to myself and I thought Okay, I got really specific, and now all I can do is wait and see if the man upstairs is on board.
So imagine my surprise and excitement this morning when I opened up KSL classifieds and I saw that there was a new listing which just happened to be a Phantom Mica Blue Mazda5!
I could barely contain my excitement until I started reading the details.
Bummer # One.... the car is a 2008 model and is way, way, way above our allotted budget.
Bummer # Two....The car has a whole lot of miles for being less than two years old, 47,000 miles to be exact!
Bummer # Three....The car is only a sport model which means it doesn't have most of the features I love and want.
Bummer # Four....This car is being sold at a dealership and is priced quite high considering the high mileage....We are looking to buy from a private seller so we can save ourselves a couple thousand dollars in dealer fees as well.
I guess I forgot to mention to the Man Upstairs that I wanted a Phantom Mica Blue Mazda 5 TOURING (not a sport), that's for sale by owner, and that it needs to fit in our allotted budget and have reasonable miles for it's age.
I guess that's what I get for not being as specific as I should!
All kidding aside, I know what I want will be hard if not impossible to find and that we do have some very specific and maybe unrealistic wants and needs. I was still tickled to see my specific but not specific enough pray answered.
So maybe things won't go my way....It's good to know the man upstairs is involved in my life and that he hears my prayers.
