The GOOD News...
Another month has passed and the Giovannoni's are all alive and kickin.
I got my garden in. So far almost everything is thriving beautifully.
I managed to read 4 books this month.
I've already plotted out next months dinner menu and even went and bought the groceries to cook these meals with.
I discovered how to use Google calendar and I love it.
Livie and I made it out to the pool.
I took an artisan's bread class and am thrilled to be making my own delicious bread (finally!).
Dylan is just four days away from summer vacation.
The BAD News
My lettuce and swiss chard are still being eaten alive (and not by me, thank you very much) and my spinach bolted already!!!
I've only covered about twenty of the fifty sections I wanted to in the Doctrine and Covenants. Although I might be able to squeeze in quite a bit of reading time today.
I didn't come anywhere near walking six days a week. I did however squeak in 39 miles this month.
My swimming suit is a little more snug than I remember it being....In fact, the phrase "my cup runneth over" keeps coming to mind.
Does playing Candy Land with your kids count as Family Home Evening?
Dylan is just four days away from summer vacation.
The UGLY News
Just saying "I'm going to lose eight pounds this month" doesn't work. Apparently you have to eat less and exercise more...LAME!
I never in a whole month picked up the free weights, like I told myself I would.
My sweet adorable baby girl has morphed into this terrible two year old! She's full of spit-fire and back-talking and boy oh boy she throws a magnificent fit when things don't go her way (which seems like everyday, all day).
Dylan has been running a fever between 102 and 104 for the last three days. He spent yesterday laying on my bed in a coma like state, the only time he moved was to run to the bathroom to throw up. Bless his little heart.
I haven't had a good case of the throw ups in years, so I'm figuring my time is coming, especially when Dylan is sleeping on my pillow.

Ladies, I just sat down and came up with 30 of our favorite family meals and then I went shopping. I didn't get everything for every meal, but I got a good start. I just check off the meal from my list when I make it and Wha-La, my life's a little less complicated. If you want the list of meals and the recipes let me know and I'll hook you up!
OH BOY... DO I EVER! I surely would love a list of your meals and recipes. Ooooo, I collect recipes like their stamps but never seem find too many faves for the whole fam! I just love a good, shared recipe or two ;-)
I say good job. As time goes by, I stop beating myself up for what I didn't do, and figure I'll celebrate what I did :) Except on the bad days, then I just feel a bit like a failure :)
