Sneak Peak

So like two years ago I saw this DIY bedspread on a sewing blog.

 I knew I just had to make one for myself!  I ran out to the store and bought turquoise jersey cotton sheets so I could get started ASAP.  I started with all the gusto of a girl on a mission but then real life happened and it got boxed away and put off for another time.
I thought it would be the perfect project to get back out and get going on again since our master bedroom is so bare and undecorated and I was dying from boredom.   I finished sewing it all together a month or so ago, and put off posting pictures until I could find a cheap duvet to sew it onto.  Since I still haven't found that "cheap duvet"  I decided I'd stop waiting and just post a few pictures of it how it is for the time being.  I love how it turned out! 

 

This last picture gave me quite a chuckle, I was trying to snap an overhead shot and caught my giant pregnant belly, so for those that want a sneak peak at that too, here you go!
