I am not photogenic. It's worth repeating again, I am not photogenic.
If I know a camera is going to be around I either spend my timing hiding from it, or I spend a lot of time before hand, trying to make myself look presentable.
On the rare occasions when I spend time making myself look nice I usually pull out my own camera and snap a few pictures, where I can angle my head just right so that my double chin magically disappears, and I can fool myself into believing I look nice.
Those are the pictures that get posted to facebook and my blogs, the ones that make everybody believe I do my hair and my makeup and get out of my Pj's every once in a while.
So if this blog is about me, then I should be fair and post pictures of the "real me", the "me" my husband comes home to (poor guy) the "me" that spends all my time taking care of everybody else. The "me" who is getting freckles and age spots and wrinkles, the "me" who is getting thicker, the "me" who looks like I've just given up.

Gosh...you and I are so mentally in sync. I was thinking just the other day how I used to be able to just toss my hair up in a bun and not have to worry about makeup and I'd still look pretty good. Yeah...that was about 15 years and 40 lbs ago. But you still look good, so I don't know what you're complaining about. ;)
