Albuquerque

I feel so lucky and very blessed lately.
Big changes are headed towards the Giovannoni household. I don't know what exactly those changes are, but I do know they are coming.
So I find myself doing all the things that are on my "to do" list, because pretty quick here, those things might not be so easy to do.
I've been wanting to go to my sister Heidi's for a while now and spend some time with my nieces and nephew and build memories with her family. It's been hard to not have my sister close. Each family gathering or event we have I miss her and her family. I don't like that she's 11 hours away!
So I jumped at the chance to go and spend some time with her and my sister Cozette last week in Albuquerque!
Isaac and I flew out Wednesday night. He was such a good little traveler. He smiled at anyone and everyone who was within eyesight and kept me from having a nervous breakdown from the anxiety I was having about flying by myself for the first time.
Once we got to Albuquerque I had such a good time!
We mostly spent our time sitting around together as sisters and I loved every minute of it.
The babies all got to roll around on the floor together, I got to run with my nieces, I ate the best gluten free food ever, seriously my sister has gluten free cooking down to an art, you would never know her food doesn't have wheat or gluten in it and that's really saying something!
Both my older siblings are awesome photographers and It's really nice that they share their talent and abilities with me. This trip I was lucky enough to have Heidi pull out her camera and take photos of our time together.

Heidi took the photos, I crocheted the hats and Cozy made every one smile!
Isaac 5 1/2 months, Jaycee 9 1/2 months and Braxton 7 1/2 months

Issac got sick of holding his head up in this one, it makes me laugh every time I look at it.
When I first put Isaac's hat on, he reminded me so much of the character in the beginning of the movie UP, you know the old man (except he's a little boy in the beginning) that is always running around in his pilots hat with flaps and his flying goggles. So I found some goggles and Heidi took some pictures. These pictures are going to make me giggle and smile for years to come, I LOVE them!
If I can digress for just one moment....
Isaac is such a blessing in my life he's so good and happy. He's my little snuggle buddy and I'm so glad I have him!
He loves to wrap his arms and legs around me when I hold him and I love it right back!
And who doesn't love little baby butt cheeks?
We also had the chance to go to the park and grab a few sister shots.
Thankfully they were of our faces and not our rears though;)
Heidi, Me and Cozette.

Heidi
Heidi is my oldest sister.
She's beautiful, orderly, honest, giving and a great example.
She's super talented and excels at everything she does.
She never ever lets you pay her for anything and if you attempt to compensate her with money she always smuggles it back in amongst your belongings.
(I'm pretty sure she inherited this from our mother!)
I can remember that I annoyed her a lot when we were younger, I'm sure I still annoy her a lot now, but at least I'm not borrowing her clothes and wrecking them these days :)

Cozette
Cozette is one of my baby sisters.
She is beautiful. She is everyone's friend. She has a special way of making those around her feel like they are important. She's always got something nice to say. She's kind and caring. She makes the best greasy popcorn!
She most definitely is the coveted Aunt to her nieces and nephews.
Sometimes I swear she could get away with murder,
although I think that privilege comes along with being one of my parents "babies".

We missed having Emily with us. Next time I hope she'll be there with us!

I am so lucky!
Lucky to have a husband who let me have a vacation.
Lucky to have a sister who invited me down to play.
Lucky to have a sister to drive home with.
Lucky to have a son who was such a good traveler.
Lucky to be watched over, protected and blessed from a loving Heavenly Father.

Those baby pictures are hilarious! And the money snuck back in your purse must be a family trait because my mom does the same thing :)
